I went to Liz's this morning to watch the kiddies while Stig and Kyle worked on the brakes of his truck and Adella was nice enough to model my armwarmers for me!

TA DA!
I also just finished a pilot cap for a customer that I think turned out cute. Please ignore the cheesy bear model, lol. I knit it with the same yarn that Liz is using for that cool cross stitch scarf. Is that right, Liz? Cross stitch?

I also knit another hat with the forest Malabrigo but Henry refused to wear it for a picture and it is for a 5 year old boy so the bear thing wouldn't work. It was just a simple cap with a seed stitch trim, but the yarn is just sooooo pretty. The woman who bought it promised she'd take a picture of it on her son so I'll post it then.
For now I am banished back to the land of monster pants until I get caught up again. Pthhhhh.

oh what a lovely little model! and the armwarmers look great too... i'm having trouble finding the perfect washable yarn to make adella's. everything acrylic just seems so plastic-y to me - nohting compares to good ol' wool. maybe when i have more time to look around i'll find something.
oh, and amy - i think the pattern is a cross-hatch stitch.
Oh right. cross hatch. Cross stitch is for samplers and such.
She was a loverly model. I will be coming over with jellybeans in my pockets every time I need a picture from here on out ;) Heck, she didn't even need jellybeans that time.
Oh, and did you think about the Lion's Brand "washable wool"?
Those came out so cute!! I love the colors! Adella.....so cooperative and adorable!! You sure you didn't sneek her cookies or something! Amazing!
Oh, I do like those pilot hats. I think the yarn makes them! And you got the bear to sit still too! You must be very charming!
