i think i failed to mention that i did finish my scarf earlier this week.

not a great picture, i know - sorry.
it's done, and (once again, i'll say) i love the yarn SO much.

so much, in fact, that i've started knitting myself some armwarmers using the same yarn. so far, i've finshed one and have been wearing it all day. it is super soft and warm and the perfect thing for my cold hands (warm heart). (that's what all the little old ladies at work tell me when i give them the shivers with my iceberg fingers.)
so here it is:

nice and simple - k1, p1 rib all the way. i've done a few inches of the partner already, so it won't be long before i'm sporting TWO armwarmers, instead of the lone armwarmer i've been wearing around all day.

i actually haven't been knitting as much as usual - i've had a big sewing project and a little embroidery project in the works, as well as some redecorating. so i've been a busy bee. with the cold weather coming, i feel the need to clean and re-settle into the house before closing up the windows and doors for the next 6 months.
plus, i've started on my Xmas crafting!!
i did buy some yarn to knit up some armwarmers for adella, and probably a matchy-matchy hat to go with them. those are next on the list. and stig's hat is after that.
unless i find another project, and then the hat might get bumped.
