i'll have to make this quick, because any minute now stig is going to come down and try to bully me off the computer.

i finished the pilar sweater!!
it came out great and i LOVE it!!!

please ignore the goofy look on my face and concentrate on the fancy little eyelet rows and comfy fit and pretty paprika color of the lovely sweater:

(that's a berroco free pattern (pilar) and paton's classic merino worsted wool in paprika)

now if i can just restrain myself from starting any more new knitting projects until i finish my xmas gift boxes...

No time for a real post, but I wanted to post a picture of the fabulous half zip tunic me mama brought Henry this weekend. Yay! It is so beautiful. And the bravery to sew a zipper in astounds me. Now if I could only get him to actually wear it...

Yay! I finally have something to post! The first time I made the Jolly Roger pants I forgot about our color conversation and made them regular black and white. Imagine my dismay when I reread an email and found out I had just finished a wrong pair of pants! I sold them in about 5 minutes, luckily, and started anew. I am loving the rainbow and black stripes, I think they turned out pretty cool.

Now they are off to go to the post office and all I have left from my old batch of orders are the 2 pairs of Jolly Rogers for Mahar. After that I think I am going to take a couple fo days and work up the awesome pirate idea that Liz gave me. Aaaargh!!!

This time tomorrow I might be knitting with my mama! Woot!!!

Well....as promised here are my pictures. The blue sweater is for 'lil Fredward. I am still searching for a zipper. I think I am going to have to custom order. If that doesn't work...well...we'll just have to see. I still have a little time before I have to worry too much about that!!! And then there is the Aran sweater for Henry! I have a ways to go but ,I just sewed the back to the front. Still haven't figured out the front opening. The directions are a bit weird. Knit 7 stitches ribbed for 5 cm and then sew in? What's with that! I may have to improvise! For now I'm working on the sleeves. I find that when I'm stumped to just go on to another part of the sweater and think about the confusing part. This is the first raglan sleeve sweater I've made and I must admit I'm not thrilled with raglan sleeves! The pattern part of the sweater was easy but reducing for the raglan sleeve and trying to make the pattern come out...well lets just say I ripped the back out quite a few times! I'm glad that's done! Ta da!!

Phew! Okay. I finally finished the 3 pair order I was working on after the Mahar order, so here 'tis.

I am now working on another order with the Jolly Roger and Monster Booty. After that, I ahve 2 more Jolly Rogers. Am I sensing a theme here? I might not post pictures of all of thsoe because they are all the same, but rest assured that I am hard at work!

Here is my first order for Mahar Dry Goods. They go off tomorrow. Robert said that they would be included in his October newsletter, so cross your fingers that they go over well!

Now I can get to work on the other 9 orders I ahve sitting in front of me. Yikes.
